I have a story in the new Northern Frights journal from Horror Writers Of Maine! The kindle version is now available: https://www.amazon.com/Northern-Frights-Autumn-Midwinter-2020-ebook/dp/B08QMCHR3V/
Here’s my last-minute awards eligibility post (with links) for my debut horror collection, one fantasy poem, and one editing credit for a SFF poetry journal. I hope you you’ll consider them when you’re doing your recs this year and remember in some cases multiple recs are important (HWA).
My debut collection DARK BLOOD COMES FROM THE FEET (MAY 2020) got a great review from NPR: https://www.npr.org/2020/06/28/883957471/shirley-jackson-meets-johnny-rotten-in-dark-blood-comes-from-the-feet. It has 12(!) new stories in it:
The Limbo Lounge, Porch, Crab, Black Shuck Tavern, The Last Witch in Florida, Cellar Door, Whitechapel, Infection, Janine, Surviving My Parents, This is Not the Glutton Club, and Rise.
My poem, Persephone, was published in the Summer 2020 issue of Kaleidotrope. You can read it here: http://www.kaleidotrope.net/archives/summer-2020/persephone-by-emma-j-gibbon/
I also edited the Eye to the Telescope: House & Home issue in April 2020. You can read it here: http://eyetothetelescope.com/archives/036issue.html
On Friday, October 30th, I will be featured on the L/A Arts virtual Art Walk!
You can see me on the What the Dark Teaches Us Panel at StoryFest 2020 on Friday, September 18th at 7pm!
